IPsphere
IPsphere Forum is an international standards body dedicated to unleashing the business and societal benefits of IP convergence. IPsphere Forum enables automated deployment of IP-based services and offers service providers the possibilities of:
- New services and a broader set of partners
- A unified service delivery layer that reduces operating expenses
- Time-to-market improvements for new services
Overview
The IPsphere framework transforms the way that IP-based network experiences are conceived, delivered, and settled. Applying the benefits of service-oriented architectures (SOA) to evolving telecommunications business models, IPsphere enables both network and content service providers to create services in an "open garden."
Alongside the world's leading carriers and hardware and software vendors, Juniper Networks is an active member in the IPsphere Forum. In this highly collaborative environment, we work closely with service providers to develop innovative solutions to some of their most complex service delivery requirements.
In developing specifications in this area, IPsphere Forum complements the work of existing standards organizations and welcomes open participation from service providers, content providers, OSS/BSS suppliers, and network and IT equipment vendors. In addition, IPsphere Forum demonstrates and validates its framework via its own test bed and through multi-vendor implementation trial.
