    Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0.

    Description

    Define the priority of a node (device) in a redundancy group. Initiating a failover with the request chassis cluster failover node or request chassis cluster failover redundancy-group command overrides the priority settings.

    Options

    priority-number —Priority value of the node. The eligible node with the highest priority is elected master.

    Range: 1 through 254
