Components of Traffic Engineering
In the Junos® operating system (OS), traffic engineering is implemented with MPLS and RSVP. Traffic engineering is composed of four functional components:
- Packet Forwarding Component
- Information Distribution Component
- Path Selection Component
- Signaling Component
