Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 11.1 for the QFX Series.
Description
Define drop profiles for random early detection (RED). When a packet arrives, RED checks the queue fill level specified in the drop profile. If the fill level corresponds to a nonzero drop probability, the RED algorithm determines whether to drop the arriving packet.
