Description

Configure when an LDP session is torn down and resignaled after the router or switch stops receiving hello messages from a neighboring router or switch. You might want to modify this behavior to prevent an LDP session from being unnecessarily terminated and reestablished. The LDP session remains up for the duration specified as long as the routers or switches maintain IP network connectivity.

Options

timeout seconds—Time in seconds before the LDP session is torn down and resignaled.

Range: 1 through 65,535 seconds
