Syntax

file checksum md5 <pathname> filename

Command introduced before Junos OS Release 7.4.

Command introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

Command introduced in Junos OS Release 11.1 for the QFX Series.

Description

Calculate the Message Digest 5 (MD5) checksum of a file.

Options

pathname
—

(Optional) Path to a filename.

filename
—

Name of a local file for which to calculate the MD5 checksum.
