set cli idle-timeout<minutes>

Command introduced before Junos OS Release 7.4.

Command introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

Description

Set the maximum time that an individual session can be idle before the user is logged off the router or switch.

Options

minutes

(Optional) Maximum idle time. The range of values, in minutes, is 0 through 100,000. If you do not issue this command, and the user’s login class does not specify this value, the user is never forced off the system after extended idle times. Setting the value to 0 disables the timeout.
