Description
Allow queue selection for all traffic generated by the Routing Engine (host). The selected queue must be configured properly. You can also configure specific DSCP code point bits for the type of service (ToS) field of the generated packets. This configuration does not affect transit packets or incoming packets. This is a global configuration that only affects packets originating on the Routing Engine. By default, the forwarding class (queue) and DSCP bits are set according to those given in Default Routing Engine Protocol Queue Assignments. This feature is not available on J Series routers.
