Release Information
Statement introduced before Junos OS Release 7.4.
Description
For ATM encapsulation only, define a constant bit rate bandwidth utilization in the traffic-shaping profile.
Default
Unspecified bit rate (UBR); that is, bandwidth utilization is unlimited.
Options
rate | — | Peak rate, in bits per second (bps) or cells per second (cps). You can specify a value in bits per second either as a complete decimal number or as a decimal number followed by the abbreviation k (1000), m (1,000,000), or g (1,000,000,000). You can also specify a value in cells per second by entering a decimal number followed by the abbreviation c; values expressed in cells per second are converted to bits per second by means of the formula 1 cps = 384 bps. For ATM1 and ATM2 OC3 interfaces, the maximum available rate is 100 percent of line-rate, or 135,600,000 bps. For ATM1 OC12 interfaces, the maximum available rate is 50 percent of line-rate, or 271,263,396 bps. For ATM2 IQ interfaces, the maximum available rate is 542,526,792 bps. |
