Description
For Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol (VSTP), or Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), configure the link cost to control which bridge is the designated bridge and which interface is the designated interface.
Default
Link cost is determined by the link speed.
Options
cost—Link cost associated with the port.
Range: 1 through 200,000,000
Required Privilege Level
routing—To view this statement in the
configuration.
routing-control—To add this statement
to the configuration.
