Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 11.1 for the QFX Series.
Description
Configure RMON history group entries. This RMON feature can be used with the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) agent on the network to monitor all the traffic flowing among devices on all connected LAN segments. The RMON history feature collects statistics in accordance with user-configurable parameters.
The history group controls the periodic statistical sampling of data from various types of networks. This group contains configuration entries that specify an interface, polling period, and other parameters. If you use the history statement, you must also configure the interface interface-name statement.
