Release Information
Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 11.1 for the QFX Series.
Description
After the switch receives a leave group membership message from a host, immediately remove the group membership from the interface and suppress the sending of any group-specific queries for the multicast group.
![]() | Note: When configuring this statement, ensure that the IGMP interface has only one IGMPv2 host connected. If more than one IGMPv2 host is connected to the switch through the same interface and one of the hosts sends a leave message, the switch removes all hosts on the interface from the multicast group. The switch loses contact with the hosts in the multicast group that did not send a leave message until they send join requests in response to the next general multicast listener query from the router. |
Default
The immediate-leave feature is disabled.
