Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 13.2 for PTX Series routers.
Description
Specify bit error rate (BER) threshold for signal degrade clear.
 | Note: Configuring a high BER threshold for signal-degrade and a long interval might cause the internal counter register to be saturated. An invalid configuration will be discarded by the PIC driver, and the default values will be used instead. A system log message will be logged for this error. |
Options
value—Time interval. After the BER threshold for signal-degrade is crossed for ten consecutive intervals, an alarm is raised. If the BER threshold for signal-degrade clear is crossed for ten consecutive intervals, the alarm is cleared.
Range: 1 through 1000 milliseconds.
Default: 100 milliseconds.
