Description
Define the owner for IP addresses hosted on an ms- interface. This statement is used to specify that the steering of control plane packets to the Multiservices PIC be preserved. The provider of your application or its user documentation will tell you when you need to set this configuration.

owner | — | Owner of the IP address for the interface. There are two options: |
Values:
routing-engine | — | IP address defined on the interface is hosted by the Routing Engine. This option is not used. |
service-plane | — | IP address defined on the interface is hosted by the service plane. This option is used to preserve the packet steering behavior built into your application. The provider of your application or its user documentation will tell you when you need to set this configuration. |
