Specifying the Scope of Configuration Information to Return in a NETCONF Response
In a NETCONF session with a device running Junos OS, by including the appropriate child tag elements in the <filter> tag element within the <rpc> and <get-config> tag elements, a client application can request the entire configuration or specific portions of the configuration:
<rpc><get-config><source>( <candidate/> | <running/> )</source><filter><!-- tag elements representing the configuration elements to return --></filter></get-config></rpc>
