Displaying Routing Engine Information
Purpose
Display information about the Routing Engines that are part of the RSD or PSD.
Action
Display information about the Routing Engines that are part of the RSD or PSD using the show chassis routing-engine command.
On the RSD
When the show chassis routing-engine command is issued on the RSD, the Slot field indicates the slot on the T Series router that holds the Routing Engine. In the following example, the master Routing Engine is in slot 0, whereas the backup Routing Engine is in slot 1.

On the PSD
When the show chassis routing-engine command is issued on the PSD, the Physical Slot field indicates the slot on the JCS platform that holds the Routing Engine. In the following example, psd2 owns the Routing Engines in slots 5 and 6 in the JCS chassis. The master Routing Engine is in slot 6, whereas the backup Routing Engine is in slot 5.
