Importing a service template enables you to transfer
it from another Junos Space fabric.
Before you begin, make sure you have access to a template file.
Although it is an xml file, the system expects to find it packed into
a .tgz file, which is the way the system exports .xml files.
- In the Network Activate task pane, select Service Design > Manage Service Templates > Import Service Template.
The Import Service Template dialog appears.
- Click Browse.
The File Upload window opens.
- Navigate to the appropriate file, select it, and click Open.
The Import Service Template dialog reappears, displaying
the name of the selected file in the Template File field.
Note: Under some circumstances, when the Import Definition dialog reappears, it displays a message beginning Confirm name
mapping of. This message serves as a warning that the system
has changed the name of the definition itself. This happens when you
import a template with the same name as an existing template.
- Click Import.
The Manage Template Definitions page reappears, displaying
the newly imported template definition.
