Monitoring Microservices
Service and Infrastructure Monitor displays information about microservices running in each Contrail Service Orchestration (CSO) implementation. This information is related to the CSP Microservervice Overview on the dashboard, which displays information about the VMs in which the microservices reside. In this view, however, the focus is on the actual microservices rather than the VMs in which they reside.
To monitor microservices:
Table 1 shows the monitoring parameters for microservices.

Microservice status |
State of the microservice and the time it entered that state.

Number of Instances |
Number of instances of the microservice. |
Instance Status |
Number of microservices in a colored square that indicates the status of the instance. When you click the square you see:

Monitor Commands |
Total number of commands issued to monitor the status of the microservice since it became operational. |
Command Status |
Result of the commands issued to monitor the status of the microservice. When you click the square you see:
