Create, Rename, and Delete a Group
A group on the License Dashboard page represents an entitlement group. You must create an entitlement group to manage all entitlements and licenses for your Juniper devices. After you create an entitlement group, you can view your entitlements and licenses on different tabs of the License Dashboard page. Currently, you can create only one entitlement group for an organization.
Create a Group
You must create an entitlement group to manage all entitlements and licenses for your Juniper devices.
To create an entitlement group:
Navigate to Organization > Licensing.
Click Create Group.
The Create Group pop-up appears.
Enter a name for the group in the Enter Group Name text box, and click Create.
The name can contain alphanumeric characters and spaces.
A confirmation message appears, indicating that the entitlement group is successfully created.
Rename a Group
You can rename an existing entitlement group any time after you create it.
To rename an existing entitlement group:
Navigate to Organization > Licensing.
Click Rename Group.
The Rename Group pop-up appears.
Enter a new group name in the Enter Group Name text box, and click Rename.
The name can contain alphanumeric characters and spaces.
The new group name is displayed.
Delete a Group
You can delete an entitlement group from the License Dashboard page. You can't delete a group that contains entitlements. You must ensure that there are no entitlements in the group before you can delete a group.
To delete an entitlement group:
Navigate to Organization > Licensing.
Click Delete Group.
The Delete Group pop-up appears.

Click Confirm to delete the group.
A confirmation message appears, indicating that the entitlement group is deleted.
CAUTION:If you try to delete a group with entitlements, the following error message is displayed: You can't delete a group that has entitlements.
