Assign a Device to a Site

A site represents the location where the device is installed. On successful onboarding, each device must be assigned to a site for the device to connect to cloud. The device is listed as Unassigned if the device is onboarded but not assigned to a site.

To assign one or more devices to a site:

  1. Navigate to Organization > Inventory.

    The Inventory page appears.

  2. On the respective Device tab, select the device that you want to assign to a site and click More > Assign to a Site.
    The Assign Devices to a Site page appears.
  3. Select the site to assign the devices in the Select Site list and click Done.
    The device is assigned to the selected site and the Site field on the Inventory page shows the site to which the device is assigned.
