About the Users Page
To access the Users page, click Settings Menu > Users on the banner.
You must be an administrator with the Super User role to view, add, and manage users. Depending on whether SMTP is configured or not, different workflows exist to add and manage users in Paragon Automation. See Configure SMTP Settings in Paragon Shell.
If SMTP is configured, Paragon Automation sends an invitation e-mail when:
A first-time user creates an account in Paragon Automation
A superuser adds a user to an organization.
If SMTP is not configured in Paragon Automation, an administrator with the Super User role creates a user account in the organization and shares the Paragon Automation URL, e-mail ID, and temporary password with the user. The user must log in with the credentials provided by the superuser to activate the account. Once logged into the organization, the user is prompted to create a new password. For more information on user login, see User Activation and Login.
Tasks You Can Perform
An administrator with the Super User role can perform the following tasks from this page:
View details of the existing users and the users who are invited to access the organization—The basic information about the users, such as first name, last name, e-mail ID, invite status of the user, and role assigned is displayed. See Table 1 for field descriptions.
Invite users; see Invite Users.
Manage user invitations; see Manage Users and Invites.
Resize or re-arrange columns in a table (grid).
Show or hide columns in the table or reset page preferences, using the vertical ellipsis menu.
Search by using keywords—Click the search icon (magnifying glass), enter the search term in the text box, and press Enter. The search results are displayed on the same page.
Filter the data displayed in the table—Click the filter icon (funnel) and select whether you want to show or hide advanced filters. You can then add or remove filter criteria, save criteria as a filter, apply or clear filters, and so on. The filtered results are displayed on the same page.
Set the number of rows to be displayed in the table—Set the number of rows (15, 30, 50, or 100) to be displayed in the Network Implementation Plan table in the Display drop-down list provided at the bottom right-corner of the table.
If there are multiple pages of rows, use the arrow heads to traverse through the pages or enter a page number to view the entries listed on that page.
For more information, see GUI Overview.
