request vpls-switchover
Syntax
request vpls-switchover (instance | logical-system | neighbor | vpls-id)
Description
Perform LDP VPLS pseudowire switchover. This provides a way to gracefully recover from pseudowire failures in such a way that Layer 2 circuit and VPLS services can be restarted when an LDP session with the remote PE router goes down.
Options
| instance |
Name of the VPLS instance. |
| logical-system | Name of the logical system, or 'all'. |
| neighbor | IP address of the neighbor. |
| vpls-id | Layer 2 circuit ID. |

When you enter this command, you are not provided feedback on the status of your request.
You can use the show vpls connections instance command to confirm the
switchover.
