Description
Enable auto-sensing of link-bandwidth and attaching the link-bandwidth community on a route at import. BGP can communicate link speeds to remote peers, enabling better optimization of traffic distribution for load balancing. This facilitates the integration of devices with different transmission speeds within the network, enabling efficient traffic distribution based on link speed.
Note that when more than one link-bandwidth community is attached to the route, BGP ignores transitivity and installs the lowest link-bandwidth value to the FIB, also known as the forwarding table
