explicit-null-cos

date_range 19-Nov-23

Syntax

content_copy zoom_out_map
explicit-null-cos {
    inet;
    inet6;
}

Hierarchy Level

content_copy zoom_out_map
[edit forwarding-options]

Description

The default classification for explicit-null packets is based on the payload (IPv4 or IPv6 DSCP bits). Configure this to make the packet classification based on the MPLS EXP value rather than on the payload, thus preserving the MPLS classification of the packet.

Options

Note:

Include both options below or neither to use the MPLS EXP value for classification regardless of the payload type.

inet

Use the MPLS EXP value for classification when the payload is an IPv4 packet.

inet6

Use the MPLS EXP value for classification when the payload is an IPv6 packet.
