upgrade-mode (3d-fabric | default | t4000);

Description
Configures upgrade mode for SIBs and forces them
to operate in the same mode until the upgrade is complete. Upgrade
mode is used so that two different types of SIBs can be installed
in an operational router or routing matrix. After you upgrade the
SIBs delete the upgrade-mode
statement from the configuration.

Options
3d-fabric | Enables the TX Matrix Plus router to upgrade to a TX Matrix Plus router with 3D SIBs. On the SFC, enables setting proper support for mixed SIBs (TXP-F13 SIB and TXP-F13-3D SIB). On the T640 or T1600 or T4000 routers in a routing matrix enables support for mixed SIBs (TXP-T1600 SIB and TXP-3D-LCC SIBs on the T1600 router and SIB-I-T4000 and TXP-3D-LCC SIBs on the T4000 router). |
default | Enables support for mixed SIBs when upgrading SIBs in the PTX3000 and PTX5000 routers. |
t4000 | Enables support for mixed SIBs when upgrading to SIB-I-T4000 SIBs in a T640 or T1600. |
