Description
Configure the memory allocation percent to install high and medium priority routes in the Forwarding Information Base (FIB) at device level. Reserve a percentage of memory on chassis for high-priority and medium priority routes, for IPv4, IPv6, and MPLS, BGP, IGP, static, aggregate, generated, and PRPD routes protocol data. The FIB prioritization configuration is a system-wide configuration. The amount of high or medium priority routes supported are different, based on memory available on the FPCs. Please note, that the system must be rebooted every time the FIB prioritization is changed.
chassis { fib-prioritization { high-priority-memory-percent 50 medium-priority-memory-percent 30 } }
Total value of high priority and medium priority percentage must not exceed 100
