Description

Enable aggregated Ethernet interface member links between a multihomed CE device and its multihoming peer provider edge (PE) devices to take different designated forwarder (DF) election roles per Ethernet segment (ES) and per VLAN. This is the default behavior with EVPN multihoming.

If you want to ensure all the member links take the same DF election role for the Ethernet segment, use the df-election-granularity per-esi option instead of this option.

You can't configure this statement and the per-esi statement at the same time. If you configure one of these statements when the other is already set, the CLI replaces the existing setting with the new one.
