Description

Configure properties for a specific port number.

Options

Port number

  • Range: Depends on the device.

channel-speed

Port channel speed

  • 10g—Set the port speed to 10G. This will restart PFE on some platforms.

  • 25g—Set the port speed to 25G.

  • 50g—Set the port speed to 50G.

  • disable-auto-speed-detection—Disables automatic speed detection

forwarding-mode

PIC packet distribution mode - Brooklyn interop mode

  • sa-multicast—SA multicast mode - interop with 100G Brooklyn PIC

framing

Framing mode

  • e1—E1 mode

  • e3—E3 mode

  • sdh—SDH mode

  • sonet—SONET mode

  • t1—T1 mode

  • t3—T3 mode

no-mcast-replication

No multicast replication

no-temperature-monitoring

Number of subports per physical port

  • Range: 1 through 8

Short reach mode (For ports 0...47)

  • disable—Disable

  • 100g—Sets the interface mode to 100Gbps

  • 10g—Sets the interface mode to 10Gbps

  • 1G—1GE-Gigabit Ethernet

  • 200g—Sets the interface mode to 200 Gbps

  • 25g—Sets the interface mode to 25Gbps

  • 400g—Sets the interface mode to 400Gbps

  • 40g—Sets the interface mode to 40Gbps

  • 50g—Sets the interface mode to 50Gbps

  • oc12-stm4—OC12 or STM4

  • oc3-stm1—OC3 or STM1

  • oc48-stm16—OC48 or STM16
