service-interface (L2TP Processing)

Description

Specify the service interface responsible for handling L2TP processing.

Note:

On MX Series routers, the service interface configuration is required for static LNS sessions. Either the service interface configuration or the service device pool configuration can be used for dynamic LNS sessions.

Options

interface-name

Name of the service interface. The ae, si, and sp interface types are supported as follows:

  • asix—(MPCs on MX Series routers) Aggregated inline services interface.

  • sp-fpc/pic/port—On AS or Multiservices PICs on M7i, M10i, and M120 routers.

  • si-fpc/pic/port—On MPCs on MX Series routers.

Required Privilege Level

interface—To view this statement in the configuration.

interface-control—To add this statement to the configuration.
