Description
Restart a Junos OS process.
Never restart a software process unless instructed to do so by a customer support engineer. A restart might cause the router or switch to drop calls and interrupt transmission, resulting in possible loss of data.
The restart
command expands all applications names including
applications that are not required for the current platform. Therefore, a user could
try to do a restart for an application that is not running for the current platform.
This error message communicates that the restart failed because the application was
not running on the system.
