multicast-router-interface (IGMP Snooping)

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Statically configure the interface as an IGMP snooping multicast-router interface—that is, an interface that faces toward a multicast router or other IGMP querier.

Note:

If the specified interface is a trunk port, the interface becomes a multicast-routing device interface for all VLANs configured on the trunk port. In addition, all unregistered multicast packets, whether they are IPv4 or IPv6 packets, are forwarded to the multicast routing device interface, even if the interface is configured as a multicast routing device interface only for IGMP snooping.

Configure an interface as a bridge interface toward other multicast routing devices.

Default
