Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol

date_range 11-Mar-22
  • Support for prefix delegation visibility with DHCPv6 snooping (EX2300)—Starting in Junos OS Release 22.1R1, the DHCPv6 snoop table displays delegated prefix details. The show dhcp-security ipv6 binding command will display IA_PD details, whenever present, as a separate snoop entry with a type field against it. The type field identifies kind of snoop entry. You can use this information to infer the per-routing-instance and per-address-family counts.

    Note:

Prefix delegation is relevant only for the IPv6 address family.

    [See show dhcp-security ipv6 binding.]
