      • SLE Metrics: Add sub-classifiers for client event filters
      • 802.1x Authentication: Change dynamic vlan into table format
      • Template Improvements: Allow ETH0 and ETH1 Custom-Forwarding for Template WLANs
      • Template Improvements: Applying Template WLANs to a site will add on to existing site WLANs
      • Location View: Show WiFi Client “Last Seen” on Map Live View
      • Location View: Ability to lock Live View Map
      • Location View: Ability to display AP BLE minors on Map
      • Network Insights: All clients are available in Insights Clients dropdown
      • Tunneling: L2TPv3 tunnel properties are now color coded
      • Reporting: Add Zone analytics in the reports

    • September 7th 2016
      • UI Improvements: Users (menu item) is now called Clients. So we can make way for Wi-Fi clients, BLE Clients and App (SDK clients). More modications as we make room for BLE Asset tracking.

    • 802.1x Authentication: Dynamic VLAN (for 802.1x SSIDs) now available for all (out of Beta).
    • SLE Metrics: Show the % impact for SLE Top 10
    • Templates: Unsaved template changes get discarded when adding WLAN

      • BLE Asset Tracking is in Beta. Please open a support ticket if you want this enabled on your account. (by clicking the question mark on the top right corner of your admin dashboard)

     

    Mist Firmware

    • Our stable firmware images are tagged stable once a month. But we don’t force you to upgrade (unlike others).
    • Our latest stable release: AP Firmware Version: 0.1.1521-9. You should all upgrade.
    • Date: September 3rd 2016 – Mostly bug fixes to make your AP’s just keep humming and happy.
    • Who will get auto upgraded: Organizations that have the “auto-upgrade” feature turned on.
      • How to change your Auto config settings: Organization –> Site Configuration –>Site

    • What’s changed this release:
      • Add ARP events for Service Level Monitoring
      • Add subnet and vlan information for IP address
      • Add Guest Portal Events for Network Insights
      • Bug Fixed: Crashes on Startup if there is no config
      • Bug Fixed: AP shows as Disconnected while still Connected
      • Bug Fixed: Re-config tears down radio and sessions
      • Bug Fixed: Two Auth Events for fast roaming
      • Bug Fixed: Fix the over the DS bit getting reset when radio interface goes up/down
