Update a DNS Sinkhole Policy

Ensure that the policy is published. See Publish a DNS Sinkhole Policy.

After you create and publish the policy, you must update the policy to deploy it on the devices.

  1. Go to Configure> Firewall Policy> DNS Sinkhole.

    The DNS Sinkhole page is displayed.

  2. Select the sinkhole and click Update.

    The Update DNS Sinkhole Policy is displayed.

  3. Perform one of the following steps:
    • Select Run now to apply the configuration immediately.

    • Select Schedule at a later time to schedule and publish the configuration later.

  4. Select the devices to which the policy changes will be published.
    Note:

    You can search for a specific device by name or IP address on which the policy is published.

  5. Click Publish and Update.

    You are prompted to confirm that you want to update and publish the policy.

  6. Click OK.

    The Job Details page is displayed with the following information: job type, job Id, job name, user name, job state, percentage completed, and the job timestamp. You can click Export to CSV to save the job details as a CSV file.

  7. Click OK.

    The DNS Sinkhole page is displayed.
