Using Generated Alerts

Before You Begin

Read the Alerts Overview topic.
Review the Generated Alerts main page for an understanding of existing generated alerts. See Alert Definitions Main Page Fields for field descriptions.

Use the Generated Alerts page to view the system event‐based alerts in response to a configured alert definition. The generated alerts help you to identify problems that appear in your monitored network environment. You can view statistics such as the number of critical and non‐critical alerts.

To use the Generated Alerts page:

Select Monitor > Alerts > Alerts. The Alerts page appears.
Select the generated alert and then right-click or click More > Detail View to view the detailed information about the generated alert.
