By default, the ethtool priv-flag vf-true-promisc-support
option is set to false. It means that the promiscuous mode for the
virtual function (VF) 'will be set to limited mode.
To set the promiscuous mode for the VF to true promiscuous and allow the VF to see all ingress traffic, use the following command:
#ethtool set-priv-flags vf-true-promisc-support
on
Support for modified drivers for i40e is not available starting in Junos OS Release 19.1 and later releases.
The use_native_drivers
option does not support
Layer 2 promiscuous mode and other such features.
