Syntax
Release Information
Command introduced before Junos OS Release 7.4.
Command introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Command introduced in Junos OS Release 11.3 for the QFX Series.
Description
Listen passively for IP multicast responses. To exit the mtrace monitor command, type Ctrl+c.

Field Name | Field Description |

Mtrace query at | Date and time of the query. |
by | Address of the host issuing the query. |
resp to | Response destination. |
qid | Query ID number. |
packet from...to | IP address of the query source and default group destination. |
from...to | IP address of the multicast source and the response address. |
via group | IP address of the group to trace. |
mxhop | Maximum hop setting. |
