Configuration Automation
Junos OS commit scripts enforce custom configuration rules during the commit process. If the configuration violates the custom rules, the script can instruct Junos OS to update the candidate configuration, issue a warning, halt the commit and issue an error, or log a message. Commit scripts, when used in conjunction with macros, allow you to simplify the configuration and, at the same time, extend it with your own custom configuration syntax.
