Forwarding Classes and Fabric Priority Queues

Default Fabric Priority Queuing
On Juniper Networks M320 Multiservice Edge Routers and Juniper Networks T Series Core Routers, the default behavior is for fabric priority queuing on egress interfaces to match the scheduling priority you assign. High-priority egress traffic is automatically assigned to high-priority fabric queues. Likewise, low-priority egress traffic is automatically assigned to low-priority fabric queues.
Overriding Default Fabric Priority Queuing
You can override the default fabric priority queuing of egress traffic by including the priority statement at the [edit class-of-service forwarding-classes queue queue-number class-name] hierarchy level:
