Broadband Subscriber Management Solution Topology and Configuration Elements
The network topology for the broadband subscriber management solution focuses on configuring the access network to which the MX Series routers connect. There are many possible broadband subscriber management configurations. Figure 1 illustrates an example of a basic DHCP topology model.

When configuring the broadband subscriber management solution, specific configuration elements come into play. In one form or another, you must configure each of these elements for the subscriber management solution to function.
The configuration elements include the following:
- Subscriber network VLAN configuration
- AAA Service Framework configuration
- Addressing server or addressing server access configuration
- Dynamic profile configuration
- Core network configuration
