Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX-series switches.

Description

Configure RMON history group entries. This RMON feature can be used with the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) agent in the switch to monitor all the traffic flowing among switches on all connected LAN segments. It collects statistics in accordance with user-configurable parameters.

The history group controls the periodic statistical sampling of data from various types of networks. This group contains configuration entries that specify an interface, polling period, and other parameters. The interface interface-name statement is mandatory. Other statements in the history group are optional.
