Syntax

shutdown -f -T system:blade[x]

Release Information

Command supported by JUNOS Release 9.1 and later.

Description

(JCS management module CLI) Shut down the operating system on the Routing Engine (blade).

Options

-T system:blade[x]—Specify a Routing Engine as the target of the command (the Routing Engine to be shut down). Replace x with a value of 1 through 12.

-f—Force the operating system on the Routing Engine to shut down.
