Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

Description

Set the device’s link-connection characteristic.

Default

The automatic mode is enabled.

Options

mode —Link characteristic:

• full-duplex—Connection is full duplex.
• half-duplex—Connection is half duplex.
• automatic—Link mode is negotiated.

If no-auto-negotiation is specified in ether-options, you can select only full-duplex or half-duplex. If auto-negotiation is specified in ether-options, you can select any mode.
