Ejemplo: distribución ponderada del tráfico ECMP en vecinos IS-IS de un salto
En este ejemplo se muestra cómo configurar el enrutamiento multiruta de costo igual ponderado (ECMP) para distribuir el tráfico a los vecinos de IS-IS que están a un salto de distancia para garantizar un equilibrio de carga óptimo. El enrutamiento ECMP ponderado distribuye el tráfico de manera desigual en varias rutas para un mejor equilibrio de carga. Sin embargo, el enrutamiento ECMP ponderado es más eficiente que la distribución equitativa del tráfico durante el equilibrio de carga por paquete.

Visión general
A partir de Junos OS versión 15.1F4, puede configurar el protocolo IS-IS para obtener la información de ancho de banda de la interfaz lógica asociada con las puertas de enlace del próximo salto de ruta múltiple de igual costo (ECMP). Durante el equilibrio de carga por paquete, la distribución del tráfico se basa en el ancho de banda disponible para facilitar el uso óptimo del ancho de banda para el tráfico entrante en una ruta ECMP de una distancia de salto. El motor de reenvío de paquetes no distribuye el tráfico por igual, sino que considera los valores de equilibrio y distribuye el tráfico según la disponibilidad de ancho de banda. Sin embargo, esta función no está disponible para rutas ECMP que están a más de un salto de distancia.
Topología
En la figura 1, se configuran tres paquetes de Ethernet agregados ae0, ae1 y ae2 con cuatro vínculos cada uno, entre el enrutador R0 y el enrutador R1. El motor de reenvío de paquetes distribuye el tráfico de manera desigual entre los tres paquetes Ethernet cuando uno de los vínculos deja de funcionar, dependiendo del ancho de banda disponible.
