About the Routers Page

Network administrators can view the list of routers that are onboarded to Juniper Mist Routing Assurance from this page. You can also track the total number of routers monitored by the application and view details such as router status, model, IP address, OS version and so on.

To access this page, click Routers from the main navigation menu.

The widget Cloud Connected Routers displays the total number of Juniper routers that are monitored by Juniper Mist Routing Assurance. The widget Connected Routers displays the number of routers that are in Connected state. The widget Disconnected Routers displays the number of routers that are in Disconnected state. Click the widgets to filter and view routers by their connection status.

The total number of routers that are monitored by Juniper Mist Routing Assurance is also displayed adjacent to the page title.

Note:

The page auto-refreshes every three minutes.

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this page:

  • View onboarded routers─View router's status, name, IP address, model, and OS version.

    Click a row in the table to view router details on Routers:Router Name page. Click Router Insights to view more information about router events and BGP summary.

  • Assign routers to a site─You can assign one or more routers to a site from this page. For more information, see Onboard a Router.

  • Release routers─You can release one or more routers from Juniper Mist Routing Assurance from this page. Once a router is released, it will no longer be displayed in the onboarded routers list. For more information, see Release a Router.

  • Search and filter by using keywords─Click the search icon (magnifying glass), enter the search term in the text box, and press Enter. The search results are displayed on the same page.

  • View inventory of your organization─Click the Inventory button to navigate to the Inventory page.

  • Filter routers by site─From the site drop-down list, select a site to view routers connected to that site. Click the search icon (magnifying glass) to search by site name or site group.

  • Refresh the page─The Routers page refreshes automatically every three minutes. However, you can click the Refresh icon on the time widget to trigger a manual refresh, if needed.

Field Description

The Routers page displays all the routers that are onboarded to Juniper Mist Routing Assurance. It displays router details such as status, name, IP address, model and so on.

You can customize the table to view the information that you choose. Click the table settings button to choose the columns that you want to view in the table.

Status

Status of the onboarded router:

  • Connected: Router is connected to and can be monitored from Juniper Mist Routing Assurance.

  • Disconnected: Router is disconnected from and cannot be monitored from Juniper Mist Routing Assurance.

  • Unassigned: Router is onboarded to Juniper Mist Routing Assurance but is not assigned to a site.

Name

Name of the Router.

IP Address

IP address of the Router.

Model

Router model name.

Version

Version of Junos OS or Junos OS Evolved running on the router.

MAC Address

MAC address of the router.

Serial Number

Serial number of the router.

Last Seen

Date and time when the router was last seen as connected to Juniper Mist Routing Assurance.

Uptime

Time since the last reboot of the routing-engine.

Last Config

Date and time when the router received the last configuration changes.
