About the Trust Tab

Note:

Juniper Paragon Automation Release 2.2.0 provides Beta support for the Trust Tab feature.

To access this tab, click Observability > Health > Health Dashboard > Trust.

Use this tab to view average trust score of the targets in your network and real-time information about vulnerabilities that affect the overall health of devices.

The Trust tab consists of the following:

  • Trust Pane

  • Vulnerabilities Accordion

The Trust pane displays the trust score, trust plan applied, overall trust trend, and a graph that displays the average trust score. The Vulnerabilities accordion has three sections. The first section provides a description of the accordion. The second section displays the latest aggregate health snapshot. The last section displays a health trend graph representing the average health based on the vulnerabilities on the devices.

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this page:

  • View a snapshot of the trust details on the Trust pane.

    On this pane, you can:

    • View a snapshot of the average trust score (in percentage) of devices within the network, with 100 percent representing the complete trust. A trust score is calculated based on the values of a list of factors such as prerequisites, variable, and reputational factors. See Trust Score Overview.

      The icon before the trust score indicates how trustworthy a device is.

      • A green icon indicates that the average trust score is 90 percent or above.

      • An orange icon indicates that the average trust score is between 40 and 90 percent.

      • A red icon indicates that the average trust score is 40 percent or below.

    • View the predefined trust plan applied to the network. You can select another predefined trust plan applied to the network from the Plan drop-down.

    • View an overall trend (in percentage) of the improvement or decline of the average trust score for the past 30 days.

      A green arrow pointing up before the overall trend percentage indicates that the average score has improved. A red arrow pointing down indicates that the average trust score has decreased since the details on the Trust tab was last updated.

    • View a graph of the average trust score for the past 30 days. You can also view two lines showing the high (when average trust score is 90 percent and above) and low (when average trust score is below 40 percent) threshold levels of the average trust score.

  • View overall device health based on the device vulnerabilities on the Vulnerabilities accordion. See About the Vulnerability Health Page.

    On the Vulnerabilities accordion, you can:

    • View a snapshot of the average health (in percentage) of devices based on the vulnerabilities on the devices, and the total number of unhealthy devices.

    • View the percentage and health of the KPIs, and the total number of unhealthy devices in relation to that KPI.

    • View a graph of the average health of devices based on device vulnerabilities for the past 30 days.

  • Expand or collapse accordions.

    • Click Expand All to expand the accordion on the tab. You can view detailed information that is related to KPIs that affect overall health based on alerts, and a performance graph.

    • Click Collapse All to collapse all accordions on the tab. You can view Trust score pane and overall health of the accordion that is based on alerts, and a condensed view of the performance graph.

  • View the total number of devices in the network in the top-right corner of the tab.

  • View the timestamp of the last update or refresh (in DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss AM/PM format) in the top-right corner of the tab. For example: 07/12/2024 12:42:43 PM.

  • Update the details on the tab by clicking the refresh icon.
