Known Behavior

This section contains the known behavior, system maximums, and limitations in hardware and software in Junos OS Release 13.2R8 for the EX Series.

For the most complete and latest information about known Junos OS defects, use the Juniper Networks online Junos Problem Report Search application.

Forwarding and Sampling

  • On EX9200 switches, BFD on IRB interfaces flaps if BFD is configured for subsecond timers. This is a known software limitation.

VLAN Infrastructure

  • On EX9200 switches, for the packet-action statement in the [edit vlans vlan-name switch-options interface interface-name interface-mac-limit] hierarchy level, the log, none, and shutdown options appear in the CLI, but they do not work (you cannot commit these options). This is a known software limitation.
  • On an EX9200 switch on which the Multiple VLAN Registration Protocol (MVRP) has been configured, the switch might not propagate dynamic VLAN information about VLANs that are associated with a trunk port. This is a known software limitation.
