Hardware
- Centralized Clock Generator (CCG) configuration change does not reprogram hardware automatically. PR896226
Interfaces and Chassis
- Having IGMP enabled on the em0 interface can cause a discard next hop to be installed for 224/4 routes. As a workaround, disable protocols on em0 and deactivate protocols (for example: IGMP, LDP). After that, activate the protocols again. PR601619
- On the PTX3000, after chassis power cycle, CCG should not be in "holdover" state. PR856962
- Internal PSM temp can vary 3C based on load variations. PR871980
- You cannot remove the USB driver without doing an unmount. PR872412
Layer 2 Features
- On PTX Series Packet Transport Routers, active-remote-source is not supported in connection with features requiring tunnel services (for example, generation of PIM Register message).
Routing Policy and Firewall Filters
- On PTX Series Packet Transport Routers, we support only 48k longest prefix match (LPM) routes. If the limit of 48,000 longest prefix match (LPM) routes is exceeded, the kernel routing table (KRT) queue can be stuck with the error Longest Prefix Match(LPM) route limit is exceeded. As a workaround, reduce the number of LPM routes because only 48000 LPM routes are supported. PR801271
- NSR was not supported on the PTX Series in the first release so a restriction was imposed on NSR- related commands and trace options. Later NSR support was added without removing this restriction from trace options of some of the protocols and a BGP replication CLI command. PR847963
Software Installation and Upgrade
- For the PTX5000, SIB link error might occur when doing a unified ISSU from previous release to Junos OS Release 13.2R2. Depending on traffic flows through the FPCs and PICs in use, the error might cause longer than usual traffic drop during a unified ISSU switchover. PR934835
