Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Description
Configure Link Layer Discovery Protocol–Media Endpoint Discovery. LLDP-MED is an extension of LLDP. The switch uses LLDP-MED to support device discovery of VoIP telephones and to create location databases for these telephone locations for emergency services. LLDP-MED is defined in the standard ANSI/TIA-1057 by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA).
