SUMMARY You can configure a discovery schedule to populate ARP, MAC tables, and neighbor information for your devices. The discovery schedule also allows new devices to be automatically added to the inventory.
Configuration Source Management will no longer work after the end of 2020,
when browsers discontinue support for Adobe Flash. You can configure credentials,
protocols, and schedules in the Configuration
monitor on JSA 7.4.1, patch 1 and later. For more information about this
change, see Juniper Secure Analytics Risk Manager: Adobe Flash End of Life and
Changes to Configuration Source Management (CSM).
- Click the Admin tab.
- Click Apps.
- In the Risk Manager pane, click Configuration Source
Management, and then click Schedule Discovery.
- Select the Enable periodic discovery checkbox to enable schedule
discovery.
- Configure the following parameters:

Name

Type a unique name for the schedule
configuration. |
Start time

Select a time and date you want to start the backup
process. The time must be specified in 24-hour time. |
Frequency
|
Select the frequency that you want to associate
with this schedule. |
Cron
|
Type a cron expression, which is interpreted in
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). For assistance, contact your
administrator. |
Specify End Date
|
Optional. Select a date to end the job schedule.

Crawl and discover new devices
|
If you want the discovery process to discover new
devices, select the checkbox. If you do not want to add new
devices to the inventory, clear the checkbox. |
